The American Dream is synonymous with opportunity. While the
Founding Fathers had great foresight when crafting the documents
that secured many of our freedoms, Americans have continued to
fight for equal access to the opportunities available here. A
major success was won with the Fair Housing Act.
The Fair Housing Act, Title VIII of the Civil Rights Act of 1968,
prohibits discrimination in housing based on race or color, national
origin, religion, sex, familial status, and handicap (disability).

Development website.
